Dwyer Cultural Center (DCC)
Community Works’ programming at the Dwyer includes rotating visual art and history exhibits, performances, neighborhood tours, book readings, symposia, and a wide variety of workshops. Events are specially developed to compliment the exhibits on view, making a visit to the Dwyer a powerful learning experience.

Dwyer visits can also be customized to suit your interests. Create your own artwork in a gallery filled with art. Tour the neighborhood gathering words, images and sounds, then return to the Dwyer to create a multi-media piece. Combine a performance with a workshop, then take the stage!

On permanent display is our Harlem timeline and the Harlem Quilt. Regular events include our free monthly Saturdays @ the Dwyer for families, our evening Jazz @ the Dwyer series. For a list of current exhibits and upcoming special events, see our Events page
